This species is endemic to the
South Island ofNew Zealand , on Stephens Island and inMarlborough Sounds .Description
This species has 15 shallow lateral grooves on either side, with three or four
papilla e in each side field (an area bounded by grooves). The two tentacles are not visible. There is only avestigial internal shell in the form of numerous smallcalcareous particles. The back is densely covered with small black spots.References
