"Pseudaneitea papillata" is a species of air-breathing land slug, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Athoracophoridae, the leaf-veined slugs.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand, in the South Island and the North Island south of the Ruahine Range.

Description

This species has 15 to 17 lateral grooves on either side, with up to five papillae in each side field (an area bounded by grooves). The two tentacles are not visible. There is only a vestigial internal shell in the form of numerous small calcareous particles. Coloration is olive green or dark grey.
