This species is endemic to
New Zealand , in theSouth Island and theNorth Island south of theRuahine Range .Description
This species has 15 to 17 lateral grooves on either side, with up to five
papilla e in each side field (an area bounded by grooves). The two tentacles are not visible. There is only avestigial internal shell in the form of numerous smallcalcareous particles. Coloration is olive green or dark grey.References
