This species has 20 shallow lateral grooves on either side, nearly all unbranched. The
papilla e are very numerous, small and conical. The two tentacles are barely noticeable. There is only avestigial internal shell, in the form of numerous smallcalcareous particles.The coloration is uniformly black, or yellowish-brown with a median black stripe, and bands of black streaks and spots flanking the midline on either side.References
