Juni and Luga

Mark "Juni" Sampson and Carl "Luga" Bailey were escaped criminals stalking Randy Diego in the Belizean television series Noh Matta Wat! They are assistants to drug dealer Ray Phillips and are responsible for some of the crimes taking place during the timeline of the series.

Appearance

Sampson is tall and dark-skinned, with a face resembling that of Kanye West. He is generally aggressive and the more purposeful of the duo, which often gets them into trouble. Bailey is lighter in complexion and carries something of a Jamaican accent (likely due to his portrayer, Steven Lecky). He is more timid and cautious. Luga is engaged to his pregnant girlfriend in the current season.

Activities

The two are introduced as friends of Randy Diego in season one. One night while standing on the streetside, shots ring out and an enemy of their boss Ray Phillips dies. Both men conspire to frame Randy for the murder, but during the offseason they are caught, convicted and jailed. Late in season two, they were reported escaped and remain on the run.

Early in season two, the duo attempt to ambush Randy, believing him responsible for their conviction, but manage only to wound him. Phillips is killed in an ambush by their enemies in the Sawyer gang and the boys go into hiding at a relative of Luga's. Meanwhile, in an attempt to improve their financial situation, Juni plans and carries out a grocery store robbery, much to Luga's dismay. During the botched attempt they are shot at by their enemies; Luga is presumed dead after a Juni bullet caught him accidentally and Juni himself is seriously injured.
