Lynn Wyatt

Lynn Wyatt

Lynn Wyatt (born July 16, 1935) is a Houston socialite and philanthropist. Her family started Sakowitz Furs and the Sakowitz Department Store chain. Her husband, Oscar Wyatt, was indicted for the UN Oil for Food programme, eventually brokering a plea deal in 2007 which netted him a year and a day in prison.

During the height of the oil boom in the 1970s and early '80s, the Wyatt mansion in Houston was a party house for the likes of Princess Grace, Bill Blass, Joan Collins and Mick Jagger.

Wyatt has four children and resides in the Houston neighborhood of River Oaks. [" [http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0603/feature8/index.html Survival of the Richest] ," "National Geographic"]
