Analativu (also Analaitheevu) ( _ta. அனலைதீவு) is a small island off the coast of
minority Sri Lankan Tamil dominatedJaffna Peninsula in northSri Lanka . It is divided into seven wards each corresponding to a major settlement. There are number of Hindu temples and a few churches on the island. As it has no causeway connection to the mainland, it is connected by a ferry service.
