Rabbi Eli Baruch Shulman is a
Rosh Yeshiva atYeshiva University 's affiliatedRabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) and a lecturer at its Yeshiva Program/Mazer School of Talmudic Studies (MYP). He serves as "bochen" ("examinor") at the yeshiva.Rabbi Shulman received his rabbinic ordination from Rabbi
Yaakov Joffen , head of the Beth YosefNovardok yeshiva , and was a fellow in RIETS’ former Gruss Kollel Elyon. He also studied under RabbiNachum Pertzovitz at the Mir yeshiva inJerusalem and under RabbiShneur Kotler atBeth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ.He is the rabbi of the
Young Israel of Midwood and has served as both author and editor of a number of volumes of theArtscroll Schottenstein edition of the BabylonianTalmud . He is also the author of three scholarly works on Talmudic themes: "Binyan Av" (1985); "Yesamach Av", vol. 1 (Yeshiva University Press, 1991); and "Yesamach Av", vol. 2 (Yeshiva University Press, 1999).External links
