Toulouse Business School (ESCT)

Toulouse Business School (ESCT)

Founded in 1903 by the Toulouse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the school's initial vocation was to respond to the needs of the local business community for able business administrators.

Originally housed in a 15th century monastery located in the old town centre, the School's present premises include a downtown campus and an ultra-modern "electronic" campus located on the perimeter of the city. The downtown campus, a blend of aesthetic architectural harmony and functional excellence, is located at the heart of the business complex near the centre of metropolitan Toulouse.

Today, triple accredited by EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA, the School, one of France's prestigious "Grandes Écoles de Management" was hitherto simply known as ESC Toulouse (École Supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse), delivering a single graduate degree to highly selected students. Responding to the needs of the business community, the School pursued a vigorous policy of program development and diversification. The name Groupe ESC Toulouse reflects the result of this policy.

Today, Groupe ESC Toulouse is one of France's leading integrated management schools. Its primary vocation is to prepare students to assume managerial responsibilities by developing their analytical, integrative and interpersonal skills while catering for their needs in the lifelong learning process. We thereby aspire to lay the foundation for leadership in tomorrow's business world.

RANKINGS

"L'Etudiant"

The Toulouse Business School continues its progression by being ranked 6th in the most recent ranking by the magazine L'Etudiant. After having taken 8th place in 2004 and 7th in 2005 the Toulouse Business School has this year been ranked 6th, thus confirming its progression. This distinction follows the entrance of the Toulouse Business School into the ranking of the Best Masters in Management in the Financial Times rankings.

"Financial Times" The Toulouse Business School was in 17th position in the rankings for the best Masters in Management in the Financial Times Rankings. This ranking confirms the Toulouse Business School's progression over the last 8 years. What is more: a careful analysis of the results shows that if you compare institutions with over 200 graduates per year (which is a minimum to truly exist on the international scene), the Toulouse Business School finds itself in a remarkable 15th position.

"SMGB rankings"

The 15 Specialized Masters of the Toulouse Business School have been named by the SMGB rankings as the best Bac + 5 / Bac + 6 (graduate level) training programmes.

This ranking, carried out by the SMGB Consulting Offices, a firm specialized in the recruiting and orientation of recent graduates and professionals, is based on three criteria: the reputation that the institution has among human resource directors, professional insertion (salary and jobs) and the level of satisfaction on the part of new graduates upon leaving the schools.
