Pedro Osório

Pedro Osório is a small Brazilian town in the southeastwern part of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Its population in 2004 was 8,191. It is located on the junctions of Cerrito and Olimpo. The municipality was founded in April 3, 1958 from the municipalities of Canguçú and Arroio Grande. Cerritos separated in 1996.

The municipality is by the Rio Piratini. Its population are largely of Italian and Lebanese descent.
