Yaxun B'alam III, also called 6-Tun-Bird-Jaguar was a high king of Yaxchilan from 631 until 681. He was married to Lady Pacal and was succeeded by his son Itzamnaaj B'alam II. 6-Tun was added to his name as it was found in the glyph of his name, and it distinguished him from his grandson Yaxun B'alam IV who is also known as Bird Jaguar IV. It is generally believed that he is the third Yaxun B'alam. On the stairs of Temple 33, he is shown on the eighth step playing ball on the date August 27, 636.
