"Zeacolpus knoxi knoxi", is a subspecies of small sea snail, amarine gastropod mollusc in the family Turritellidae.

Distribution

This subspecies is endemic to New Zealand's Chatham Islands.

Habitat

This snail lives at depths of between 90 and 220 m.

hell description

The shell is very similar to that of "Zeacolpus delli", but it is glassy and colourless, and the upper cord is weaker, which results in a concave shoulder.

The shell height is up to 12 mm, and the width is up to 4 mm.
