"Zeacolpus pagoda powelli", is a subspecies of small deepwater sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Turritellidae.

Distribution

This subspecies is endemic to Great Barrier Island and the Hen and Chickens Islands of New Zealand.

Habitat

This snail lives at depths of between about 45 and 200 m.

hell description

The shell is small, differing from the typical species in this genus in the poor development of the first cord, and the strong development of the second cord which dominates the spire throughout.

The shell height is up to 15 mm, and the width is up to 4.3 mm.
