Families First of Georgia

Families First is a non-profit family service agency that serves the State of Georgia by providing holistic services to children and families in jeopardy. Since its inception in 1890, the agency has continuously responded to pressing community needs such as abandoned, abused and neglected children; teen pregnancy; domestic violence; homelessness and broken families.
Families First's mission is to ensure the success of children in jeopardy by empowering families. The agency accommplishes its mission through:
* Intervention: achieving child well-being and family success through counseling and safe housing.
* Education: preventing and solving family problems through training and skills development.
* Advocacy: raising awareness and championing changes in public policy.
Governed by volunteers, but staffed by accredited professionals and with substantial funding, Families First is recognized locally and nationally as a caring leadership agency.
