Gallman went to
Saint Ignatius' College, Adelaide , where he won the MVP for the college's First XVIII team in 2005. In 2006, he was appointed Captain of the Saint Ingatius' team, and also played for South Australia at the 2006 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.Professional career
Gallman was drafted by the Adelaide Crows in the 2006 Rookie Draft as a key defender. Whilst not playing an AFL match in the 2007 Season, he began the year in the North Adelaide Reserves side, being promoted to the North senior side during the year. His performances for North Adelaide earned him a promotion of the Adelaide Crows rookie list and at the end of the 2007 AFL campaign was the only rookie to earn promotion to the senior squad.
He is 187 cm tall and weighs 84 kg, and wears jumper number 34 for Adelaide.
