Tom Murphy (chess player)

Tom Murphy is a black homeless chess player who sleeps and gives chess lessons in Dupont Circle, Washington, D.C..

Despite problems with alcoholism, Murphy placed 15th in the 2005 World Blitz Chess Championship.
