Get Hip Records is an independent Pittsburgh based music label and distributor formed by Gregg Kostelich in 1986.Theiner, Manny (1999-06-02), "Still Hip After All These Years". "Pittsburgh Newsweekly", [http://www.gethip.com/cgi-bin/ghRedirect.cgi?id=10|9|0|0|stillHip|10:-:9:-:0:-:0:-:bestLabel&session=1193025943-6610818983] .] Kostelich used the label to release music by his own band, The Cynics, as well as other local, indie and retro garage rock bands.
