Inverurie Locomotive Works was built in 1903 by the Great North of Scotland Railway in Inverurie, United Kingdom.

History

The Great North of Scotland Railway built its locomotive construction and repair works on a 15 acre site at Inverurie convert|16|mi|km north west of Aberdeen. Only ten locomotives were built there between 1909 and 1921, but the works remained open for locomotive repair throughout both London and North Eastern Railway and British Railways ownership, finally closing in 1969.
