Rage Against the Machine . The song featured on theirdebut album and never saw an official release. Whilst no official interpretation of the song has been released, many fans believe the song deals with issues pertaining to street gangs specifically in theLos Angeles area - home ofZack De La Rocha and Rage Against the Machine.References to broken single parent homes and inevitable prison - which is seen as a better alternative to the "pain in my home" are prevalent throughout. Probably the most notable reference to street gang culture comes in the lyrics; "I got a nine, a sign, a set, and now I got a name". The nine refers to a 9mm handgun, the sign is the tag gangs will spray onto walls to mark their territory and the set being the gang itself.
