Fahnenjunker onMarch 17 ,1908 . OnAugust 17 ,1909 he was elevated toLieutenant of the 117th Infantry Regiment. OnApril 1 ,1932 Felber became aLieutenant Colonel . OnJuly 1 ,1935 he found himself the Head of the III Army Corps Staff. SinceOctober 15 ,1939 Felber has been the Head of the 2nd Army Staff, then serving as the Staff Head of theArmy Group Centre (fromFebruary 15 ,1940 ). OnOctober 25 ,1940 Felber was given the command of the XVIII Army Corps and in 1942 the XXXXV (later renumbered to LXXXIII) Army Corps. OnMay 21 ,1942 an Army Group named Felber was formed under his leadership. InSeptember 26 -October 27 ,1944 he headed theArmy Group Serbia . OnDecember 6 ,1944 he led the Corps Group Felber, drawn from beaten units, which was renamed to XIII Army Corps forth. InFebruary 22 -March 25 ,1945 Felber was the commander of the 7th Army.References
