"The European Policeman Cross of Honor" is an honorary medal of the European association of the Bodies and Public Organisms of Security and of Defense in France by the decree n° 81-1103 of December 04 1981. Recipient of the "European Policeman Cross of Honor": All member of a public safety forces (Federal officers, local Policemen or military police officers that are activate, reserve and retired.Has been a help to the European community, must be serving or having served with honor, loyalty, integrity and courage during the course of there career, is the only way to be eligible for the "European Policeman Cross of Honor". The "European Policeman Cross of Honor" can be awarded to exceptional police officers of non European countries by maintaining the quoted preconditions above and there citations has to be presented by two members of the AE-COPSD. Achievement Conditions: No one may be awarded the "European Policeman Cross of Honor", if they do not present all the values of morality and integrity need for the award. A candidates nominations can be sent directly to the reward committee on a suggestion memo. The information on documents has justify its values of the award with the highest of merits. For exceptional candidates, the award will have not necessarily to be sponsored by the persons merits for the "European Policeman Cross of Honor".
A exceptional candidate is any police officer who is wounded in the line of duty, safes a member of the public, captures a top wanted criminal, or is killed in the line of duty. By their actions in one of the following circumstances, may be taken into account for the achievement of an exceptional candidate honorary decoration. Achievement Methods: The "European Policeman Cross of Honor" is awarded by a committee of granting of the rewards. It appreciates the timeliness to award this honorary distinction while ruling on the quality of the services of the candidate. A memory accompanied of all judged document useful by the candidate must succeed in this committee of which the decisions are firm and irrevocably.
