HMS H19

HMS "H19" was a British H class submarine built by Fore River, Quincy, Massachusetts as part of the second batch of H class submarines. HMS "H19" was laid down and commissioned on unknown dates.

HMS "H19" was not released to the British until the USA entered World War One. HMS "H19" was one of the 5 H class submarines to be ceded to the Chilean navy as recompense for the inconvenience of purchasing two of its 28,000 ton dreadnoughts which were being built at the outbreak of World War One.

HMS "H19" was renamed "Quidora" (H5) and served with the Chilean navy until 1953 when she was scrapped.
