He was the announcer in "The Milton Berle Show" on radio where also was a comic foil forMilton Berle .Television
He was the

In 1966, he released a single on
Kapp Records called "The Ballad of Irving", which was aparody ofLorne Greene 's song "Ringo". The tune hit #2 on the U.S.Adult Contemporary chart and #34 on theBillboard Hot 100 .
