The Pagans were a late 70's punk band from Cleveland, Ohio that were part of the second wave of Cleveland proto-punk and post-punk bands (such as Pere Ubu and Frankenstein). Best known for their sneering 7" single, "Six and Change," and controversial lyrics, the Pagans proved to be an influential band that was overlooked during their two tenures. Since then, reappraisals of second-wave punk groups has seen them win acclaim from critics.
