Silverskin legacy

"The Silverskin Legacy" is a trilogy written by Jo Whittemore (October 31, 1977), about two children, Ainsley and Meg who were accidentally transported to another world called Arylon by their neighbor, Bornias. In the first book, "Escape from Arylon" Ainsley and Meg are looking for a staff called the Staff of Lexiam, which has been stolen. Once returned, the pair intend to go home when Ainsley gets infected with "The Illness" a curse of a dragon, Arastold, leaving a cliffhanger ending and leading into book two of the trilogy, "Curse of Arastold". Meg and Bornias intend to find Arastold and to reverse the Illness before Ainsley is killed. Book one was published in 2005, and book 2 in 2006. Both of them are best sellers, and book 3 has not come out yet, but the title been released, "Onaj's Horn".
