Hamida Banu Sova

Dr. Hamida Banu Sova is a founder and Chairperson of Queens University, Bangladesh. She established this university in 1996 under the Private University Act 1992.

She was also a former Member of Parliament in Bangladesh. She was nominated for the MP of Electoral Area (Nilphamari-1) by the banner of Awami League, a major political party in Bangladesh science 2001 to 2006. Although Hamida Banu Sova is a good business holder but she doesn’t have good knowledge to conduct a university. She just knows about money and business. That’s why she couldn’t get success from her University. After getting her Membership of Parliament (MP), day by day she became busier for politics rather than increase the university quality. As a result she failed to full-fill the requirement of UGC and University was shutdown by MOE (Ministry of Education). Thousands of innocent students are now victims for that political as well as the business game. She just deserved thousands of jutar-mala from all victim students.
