Westborough High School

Westborough High School is a secondary school in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England. The school was founded in the 1960s and has had close links with the other secondary schools around it. Westborough is situated in Westborough and takes students from the ages of 11-16. It's catchment areas are Ravensthorpe, Saville Town and local area like Boothroyd.The current headteacher of Westborough is Mrs Pruchniewicz

For the last 5 years or so the music department at Westborough has grown into one of the most public viewed department at Westborough with many excellent concerts in the summer and winter time for all ages performed by the students. This is coming from a one-roomed music school to the new performing arts block which is run by Gaynor Laird. There are many important bands also that have started at Westborough most nortorisally the samba band and drumline which have performed in Batley Park, York and on sky tv during a rugby match.
