MRCP (1834-1892) was an Indian-born British medical man and author. He studied atSt. George's Hospital , London.He was with the Bengal Army, assistant surgeon in the Bengal Medical Service, and went with
Harry Burnett Lumsden on the 1857 mission to Afghanistan. He was appointed political officer atKabul .
