The park is part of Solna's and Stockholm's protected National City Park area. The big park itself is a public park, open for free the year around for visitors; the Royal Burial Ground is open free for visitors in May (Sundays; at 1 to 3 p.m.) and June-Aug (Thursdays; at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
