The roll is 840 pupils.It is an an inclusive school with a strong community ethos. The school is noted for the care and attention given to the personal and social development of each individual student. The school tries very hard to maintain a friendly and secure environment.
The School actively promotes high standards of achievement and behaviour. This should ensure that a positive atmosphere prevails in the school.
There is a range of extra-curricular activities, especially in sport and arts. These provide an important and valuable extension to students’ experiences.
The current headteacher at the school is John Putt BA, NPQH. He has been in power since September 2007.
