- Wighton Halt railway station
Wighton Halt was a minor railway station on the
Wells & Fakenham Railway , later part of theGreat Eastern Railway . It was opened by the LNER, and served the small village ofWighton . It closed on5 October 1964 .Since
1982 , the railway has been reopened by theWells and Walsingham Light Railway and is a request stop. From1982 to2005 , the station was known as "Seton's Halt", but it has now reverted to its original name.References
