Wighton Halt railway station

Wighton Halt railway station

Wighton Halt was a minor railway station on the Wells & Fakenham Railway, later part of the Great Eastern Railway. It was opened by the LNER, and served the small village of Wighton. It closed on 5 October 1964.

Since 1982, the railway has been reopened by the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway and is a request stop. From 1982 to 2005, the station was known as "Seton's Halt", but it has now reverted to its original name.
