RMD Engineering College is an engineering college in Tamil Nadu, funded by the Sri Swaminatha Naidu Educational Trust.

The engineering college is primarily built on the basis of Discipline and Education. The discipline goes overboard starting by separating female students and male. Pretty serious about Education, will make sure you attend all classes unlike several other Engineering Colleges.

Opened in 2000 with six departments CSE, IT, EEE, ECE, MBA, and MCA with about 200 students in Gummidipundi later moved to Kavarapettai near Ponneri about 30 miles from Madras/Chennai and also about an hour away from Andhra Pradesh Border (SulluruPetta). The campus is presently about 100+ acres and take care of students in dorms. A lot more courses/departments offered to students presently.
