Earl of Howth

The title of Baron Howth was created in the Peerage of Ireland c. 1425. In 1767, the 15th Lord Howth was created Earl of Howth and Viscount St Lawrence, also in the Peerage of Ireland. The fourth earl was granted a UK peerage as Baron Howth in 1881, but all the titles became extinct upon his death in 1909. See also Howth Castle.
