ParentsAlready.com is an online dating site for single parents in the United Kingdom and Ireland founded in 2003. It was the first single-parent dating site that allowed profile browsing and real-time communication between members via a website in the United Kingdom.

History

ParentsAlready.com was started by David Pinless and Lesley Smith in late 2003 and was amongst the first niche dating sites to spring up during that period. It was quickly adopted by the single parent community not only for dating but also as a vehicle for making new friendships and discussion of shared problems via message boards. Its headquarters are in Brighton and it also has another office near Bedford.

In June 2005, Pinless organised a day out for single parents and their children at Chessington World of Adventures in Surrey. It was recognised that meeting someone new was only the first step in building a relationship for a single parent and the aim of the event was to let families mix together and see how children fared with prospective dates and each other.
