The MAAC holds a monthly fishing competition for members as well as a few major competitions each year.
Blue Water ClassicThe Blue Water Classic is held in February each year and attracts over 600 competitors with $35,000 of prizes.
Patron's CupThis is a competition between Whitfords Sea Sports Club and MAAC. This competition has been running for over 20 years.
Wally LothianThe Wally Lothian is held on
ANZAC Day each year. This competition includes a "Sail-by" at 8:00am.Juniors
The MAAC juniors meet every Sunday morning during summer. This section of the club is overseen by senior members. There are over 150 members with about 75 attending every meet. Each year there is a camp, deep sea fishing charter, crabbing day and a pool competition. At each meeting there are many activities available such as boating, kayaking and pool.
