"It's Not a Rumour" was the debut album by hip hop artist Akala, released in 2006 on Illa State Records.

Akala won a MOBO Award for the album, denying hip hop heavyweights The Game and 50 Cent to claim this award, causing much controversy.Fact|date=October 2007
