The Royal Spa Centre is a
theatre inLeamington Spa ,United Kingdom . The centre was officially opened on 15th June1972 byAnthony Eden , one time MP for Leamington andWarwick andPrime Minister of theUK . It has two halls, the first of which is a traditional theatre which can hold 800 people. The second is a cinema which hold 200 which can show films or used as a theatre. This cinema shows films that have ended their run elsewhere but may still be popular and entry is slightly cheaper than at most other cinemas. Other facilities include two bars licensed to sellalcohol , a coffee bar and several smaller rooms for group bookings.Events
As well as hosting productions by local theatre, music and arts groups (the local
Gang Show being popular) the centre also welcomes national and even international acts. Concerts, dance, ice shows, wrestling, snooker, variety shows, cinema and ballet can all be accommodated. TheNational Blood Service hold drop in donation sessions and there are numerous fairs and exhibitions held there too.Notable Performers

Friends of The Royal Spa Centre is a group for those who love the theatre and the Spa Centre in particular. There is an annual subscription but members get perks such as priority bookings, ticket discounts and meet and greet sessions with performers.
