Glasgow ,Scotland ) was a U.S.soccer goalkeeper who earned one cap with the U.S. national team in 1925. He also spent five seasons in theAmerican Soccer League .Professional career
Steel began his career in the United States with Fore River of the
Southern New England Soccer League . In 1924, he signed with theBoston Wonder Workers of theAmerican Soccer League , playing two seasons with them. In 1926, he joined theNew Bedford Whalers , but moved to theFall River Marksmen eight games into the 1928-1929 season. He played only one game with Fall River before finishing his career withPhiladelphia Field Club . He retired in 1929.
