"The Moment of Truth" was a game show based on the Japanese format entitled Happy Family Plan that was produced by London Weekend Television and was broadcast on ITV from 5 September, 1998 to 29 September, 2001. It was hosted by Cilla Black.

Each week Cilla would go to 3 houses and meet 3 families and set them a task. These tasks ranged from memory tasks such as remembering every station on the London underground or skill challenges such as scoring three balls in three hoops in a minute. Cilla would pick one of the family to do the task, this would usually be the Mother or the Father, although sometimes the whole family will have to do the challenge. The family were given one week to complete this challenge.
