Hartland Swamp Wildlife Management Area

The Hartland Swamp Wildlife Management Area is a small conservation area located in western New York, USA. The Hartland Swamp WMA is located in northeastern Niagara County.

This conservation area is one of the few places for public hunting and trapping in the county. Access is from Hartland Road.

Geography

This WMA is northeast of Lockport, NY in the Town of Hartland. It is five miles south of Lake Ontario.

This is a small WMA unit, consisting of about 385 acres, partly wetland.

Hartland Swamp WMA is north of Ridge Road, NY-104.

Hartland Swamp is several miles north of the larger Tonawanda Wildlife Management Area.
