Paul Dumol

Paul Dumol

Paul Dumol is a Philippine playwright and an educator.

He is the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines. He lectures on philosophy and the aesthetics of film. He has a Ph. D. in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto, as well as a Licentiate in Medieval Studies from the Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies (Toronto). His play "Ang Paglilitis ni Mang Serapio" (The Trial of Mang Serapio, 1968) is considered by some as the first Filipino modernist play.
