Turnberry is a links golf resort on the
Atlantic Coast ofScotland . The golf course is a commercial operation which is open to the public as part of the hotel.There are three golf courses:

Golf Digest "'s 2007 list of the "100 Best Golf Courses Outside the United States." It has stagedThe Open Championship three times. The winner in 1994 wasNick Price , 1986Greg Norman and in 1977 Tom Watson won a famous Open Championship duel againstJack Nicklaus . The course is next scheduled to host the Open in 2009.
