"Painter Man" was later covered by the
1970's pop groupBoney M. , and reached number 10 in theUK single charts in1979 . The song was included on their 1978 album "Nightflight to Venus " and had been released in Continental Europe as the double A-side "Rasputin"/"Painter Man" in 1978. In the U.K. the song was however given A-side status and also released as a 12" single in yellow, red and clear vinyl.
