"Fallen" is an R&B–soul song written by Rich Shelton, Kevin Veney, Loren Hill, and Leonard Huggins for American singer-songwriter Mýa's third studio album, "Moodring" (2003). Released as the album's second and final single in November 2003, it reached number fifty-one on the U.S. "Billboard" Hot 100. The song was featured in the 2004 film "A Cinderella Story", while the Chingy-featured Zone 4 Remix made the soundtrack to 2004's "". The song's beat is derived from a sample of Brazilian musician Luiz Bonfá's 1963 song "Saudade Vem Correndo", also sampled on The Pharcyde's 1995 song "Runnin'", which is the reason why Pharcyde rappers Tre and Fatlip accompanied Mýa on the song's remix.
