Brian Grey was a minor fictional character featured in the Uncanny X-Men comic book series. He is the brother of Dr. John Grey, and thus paternal uncle to the late Jean, and Sara Grey, and paternal great-uncle to Rachel Summers and Nathan Summers- through the latter's mother Madelyne Pryor. Brain's wife's name was Julia, and they were planning to adopt his orphaned great-niece and nephew Gailyn Bailey, and Joey Bailey. Brian, and his brother were both burned to death by the Shi'ar Death Commandos during the End of Grey story arc for having the Jean Grey/Phoenix genome. Brian and Julia's unnamed daughter also perishes in a car accident that obliterates the Grey home.
