The 18-hole "Capital City" course at the Capital City Country Club facility in Tallahassee, Florida features 6,472 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71 and it has a slope rating of 124. Designed by Roy Albert Anderson, Gene Bates, and Fred Couples, the Capital City golf course opened in 1920. J.R. Gayle manages the course as the General Manager. The course is also known as the Hillaman golf course until the city created the Hillaman municipal golf course in 1976.
The Capital City Country Club prides itself on its outstanding staff. The current staff members for the upstairs fine dining include; Prateen Patel (our minority employee), Frank Cilurso (phenomenal narratives), Christopher Ricci(tool), Garret Yost(aggressive drinker), Stuart Williams, Luke Sadler, Ben Grantham, Ryan Jones, Arlene Browning(small man syndrome) and Reynolds Watkins.
