Henry Hewes

Henry Hewes

Henry Hewes (1917 - 2006) was the Drama Critic for the Saturday Review of literature from 1954 to 1979. He was born to a socially prominent family in Boston.

Hewes was a classmate of John F. Kennedy in Boston and attended Harvard University, Carnegie Mellon, and Columbia University. He served in the Army-Air Corp in World War II.
