Travelworm Incorporated was founded in 1993 by Brad Brownstein as a company that aimed to provide assistance to travelers driving between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The company’s original name was Best Reservations, Inc. From 1993 – 1997 Best Reservations’ primary marketing tools were advertisements in newspapers, telephone directories and travel trade shows, and networking with travel agents. Its staff functioned mainly as telephone reservations agents.

Best Reservations launched its first website, LasVegasRes.Com in August 1995.

It now supplies its clients with travel deals to hundreds of destinations in Nevada, California, Florida, Hawaii and elsewhere around the country.

Travelworm was acquired by Wasserstein Ventures and Cedar Street Group in 2004.

Travelworm’s current president is Jay Rein, who took the role in 2008 after positions at other online travel websites, including Worldspan by Travelport.
