JY cell line

JY cell line

The JY cell line is an Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-immortalised b cell lymphoblastoid line. They express HLA class-I A2 and class-II DR. They are a suspension cell line, though they are known to grow in clumps. Growth media is RPMI 1640, 10% FCS, 1% L-glutamine.
