Gastronomic hierarchy

The Gastronomic hierarchy is a philosophy in Gastronomy that associates a particular title with individuals that enjoy food and drink.

At the bottom of the hierarchy is the "Goinfre" (or "Greedy-Guts") and at the top is the Gastronome.

The hierarchy is as follows:

*Gastronome
*Gourmet ("A connoisseur of food and drink")
*Friand ("Epicure")
*Gourmand ("One who enjoys eating")
*Goulu ("Glutton")
*Goinfre ("Greedy-guts")
