The Shirtless Avenger

"The Shirtless Avenger" is an episode in the animated anime/manga trilogy series, Pucca, which first aired on Jetix on February 6, 2007 as the third installment in that day's trilogy.

Abyo earns a superhero costume by submitting the tops of "ramen" noodle containers, but without actually eating the noodles. Upon receiving the costume, Abyo dubs himself "The Shirtless Avenger." His first attempt at vigilante justice led to the arrest of the Cat Clan caught defacing a wall. His next arrest was that of his father, Policeman Bruce, for throwing away a cup and missing the trash can. It would not be long before Abyo became power hungry, arresting nearly every person in town (Turtle, Chang, Ssoso, Santa, Mio, Yani, the Smiley People, Tobe, Muji, Jing-Jing, Clown, Shawman, Chief and others) and crowding the small, lone jail cell. The only ones not arrested were Garu and Pucca and Ching. After Abyo spanked & arrested Garu, Pucca became "Noodle Girl," rescued the townspeople and defeated Abyo. In the end, Bruce spanked Abyo & Pucca ends up kissing Garu on the moon.
